To achieve an Eco School's Green Flag Status a school needs to cover topics : Biodiversity, litter, energy, transport, water, school grounds, healthy lifestyles, waste management and minimilization and global perspective.

The comments from the Eco Schools Assessor : ' The staff and children at Gosberton House Academy work hard to follow the ethos of Eco-Schools as part of their day to day activities and it is apparent that they gain a great deal from it....As a whole Gosberton House Academy has worked extremely hard to enable their children to have the skills to look after their school in a sustainable way.I am very impressed with their work, and I think that they thoroughly deserve their Green Flag !
