Mr Evans visited all 4 classes in Upper key stage 2 on the 6th & 7th June to deliver workshops on electricity, magnetism and forces. The workshops were interactive and exciting with the children being provided with equipment and allowed to explore and investigate at their own pace. They discovered how electricity flows to make a circuit and which materials conduct electricity and also how to generate electricity. They discovered how and why magnets attract and repel each other and the materials to which they are attracted. They used mechanical Lego cogs to design and build a spinning top.
